Hacking is not always a dangerous activity
I think you misunderstanding the distinction between security breaking and hacking.
Hacking means exploring the limits of what is possible, in a spirit of playful cleverness,
playfully doing something difficult, whether useful or not, that is hacking.
The term "cracking" suits better security breaking...
