Fast Company's content management system was breached Tuesday evening. As a result, two obscene and racist push notifications were sent to our followers in Apple News about a minute apart. The messages are vile and are not in line with the content and ethos of Fast Company. Tuesday's breach follows an apparently related event that occurred Sunday afternoon on FastCompany.com, when an unknown actor (or actors) posted similar language on the site's home page and other pages. Fast Company regrets that such abhorrent language appeared on our platforms and in Apple News, and we apologize to anyone who saw it before it was taken down. We immediately retained a leading global incident response and cybersecurity firm and together are investigating the situation. We have shut down FastCompany.com until the situation is resolved.

While we work on the site, we will be continuing to publish news and analysis on our social channels: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and NigTok.

Also, this isn't apart of my statement just a general reply regarding NY Post: I don't get why people are asking if I did it, that would be pretty fucking obvious if I did. What do you think happened in the past month? I unfortunately don't have any information in regards to NY Post being hacked, and that includes myself being the perpetrator. If I did (which I didn't) I would take full credit for it, and the published messages would be much more grotesque. I believe that the information given out in my post about how we initially gained access to Fast Company could be a potential contributor to the method used to hack NY Post, though that's a guess. The information is out there on the internet and it is impossible for me to know who has used it in a "negative" way.
