Gambler's BTC -> Casino wallet -> Gambles (probably loses money lmao) -> Withdraws BTC -> Send dirty BTC to Gambler

Only works if you can remain hidden while running an illegal casino or hosting company for example.

Make one or two ste am accs with 2FA and no es-crow hold (with a valid but anonymous phone number) and wait until they are ready for trade without limitations. Then use a service like tra de it ( dot ) g g to send your BTC / Eth to them and buy keys or high priced items and from there you can try to sell them on the S te am market and buy keys on there and trade them either to your alt acc you created or go directly back to tra de it and turn them back into either btc eth or usdt to another fresh wallet. Maybe the idea can be refined but I think that method would at least clean the crypto. The longer you do the process of buying and selling an item, the more tedious it becomes to track it all. Using privatized ste am accs as buffer to convert them to something else could also help not being registered on some item track website like b p (dot) t f. cons: you loose a bunch of dosh in the process.

This is very interesting, a topic that needs to be written on, and perfect timing that I found this since tornado started using OFAC sanctions from US treasury (although I heard you can just direct interact with the contract to bypass this, though I'm not sure of that claims validity)

Anyhow my take on the matter (I personally just tornado my funds) but plenty of my partners launder their funds through stake, roobet and other unregulated crypto gambling sites, since there's a very large volume of funds going in and out each day and well, they're unregulated or if they do require KYC, their KYC review team has their eyes closed or something :D

There are many shit-tier casino owners that also co-operate with people laundering money through them, some online casinos are opened exactly for this purpose (to launder funds), perhaps find a large casino to partner up with

I do understand when you say mixers are ineffective in the long term, I think that in a sense if your funds are coming from a *legit* source (gambling, or whatever) instead of some unknown address, it would boost your AML score by a lot.. since your fund source is known and not illegal

Edit: Oh, ok. Seems that gambling source of funds raises AML scores. well, in that case I'm out of ideas.
