Most Underrated Anime?

What is your fav underrated anime, most people didn't even know about?
Please explain a bit to encourage others to go try them out.

El Hazard. No0nes heard of it! Also Escaflowne seems to have fallen off the radar, THAT was also great.

Hmmmm. Thanks! Both look interesting and I indeed didn't hear about those before. Hope I can find a way to get these :)


I'll contribute with Ping Pong the Animation and Kemonozume both created by Yuasa Masaaki, who is just a genius overall.
Also, the animation style is so unique and interesting. Very recommended even just for the visuals.

Beyond the Boundary !!! this one is the best for so many years. I have never seen any of other related anime better than this one. There are several seasons to watch.

The World only God Knows. Despite what it looks like, it has one of my favourite main characters of all time. He's super smart but he's also not afraid to show that he can struggle and it can be hard for him to solve things. Plus cute characters.

idk if Death Parade would be underrated but I don't know anyone that have watched it once. But its a really good anime.
