Windows | Get passwords from saved WiFi

Here is a way to get all the information from a saved WiFi connection.I got the idea to make this thread from this thread, this one is just with one liners instead of a script that gives the same result. There are two ways do it:1) Specify a network and get the information that way2) Get information from all the stored networksIn order to do the first one, we need the name of a network, get one by doing:
netsh wlan show profiles

C:\Users\XXXX>netsh wlan show profilesProfiles on interface Wi-Fi:Group policy profiles (read only)--------------------------------- <None>User profiles------------- All User Profile : Starbucks All User Profile : Network5000
Under "User profiles" you'll see the saved connections. Get their information (including the password) by doing:
netsh wlan show profile key=clear
It should look something like this
C:\Users\XXXX>netsh wlan show profile Network5000 key=clearProfile Network5000 on interface Wi-Fi:=======================================================================Applied: All User ProfileProfile information------------------- Version : 1 Type : Wireless LAN Name : Network5000 Control options : Connection mode : Connect automatically Network broadcast : Connect only if this network is broadcasting AutoSwitch : Do not switch to other networks MAC Randomization : DisabledConnectivity settings--------------------- Number of SSIDs : 1 SSID name : "Network5000" Network type : Infrastructure Radio type : [ Any Radio Type ] Vendor extension : Not presentSecurity settings----------------- Authentication : WPA2-Personal Cipher : CCMP Authentication : WPA2-Personal Cipher : GCMP Security key : Present Key Content : Str0ngP4sswOrd!Cost settings------------- Cost : Unrestricted Congested : No Approaching Data Limit : No Over Data Limit : No Roaming : No Cost Source : Default
The password is under Security settings called Key ContentTo automatically do this for all saved connections, simply do
netsh wlan show profile * key=clear
I tried your method but it didn't work. I am trying to retrive my wifi password from a very old wifi, like 2 years ago. Do I need to change anything? Or this code will work anyway?

You can just do
netsh wlan show profile key=clear
And replace with the name of the WiFi, if it has spaces in the name you might want to surround it with double quotes "
