The usage of the operating system Microsoft Windows 10 is only justified if you are 50 years old and jewish.

Now the most common reason i've seen someone not use archlinux is because it is difficult to use. 
everything is in control by you, so it can quite the challange to set it up

I probably did not convince anyone, but if i convinced you i suggest using Manjaro, arch based OS which is beginner friendly and eazy as hell to use.

also: if you are a roleplay hacker, who brags about knowing how to hack but in reality is a complete skid, this applies to you aswell, you can show your neofetch to egirls to scare them off.

The only reason people use windows is that for the free content if it wasn't easy to crack the apps on it linux would've been the better os i still think you should have windows as a dual boot just incase

Finally someone speaking some fact! It took me personally a while to convert from windows to linux, but when I finally did it was amazing!
I really think there are 2 reasons people still use windows:
It comes preinstalled(and most people are already brainwashed into not even thinking about other operating systems)
It is better for games(not always, but who cares at this point)

I've been in the process of switching to Linux fully, what distro is recommended?

This is why I have multi machines, I can't see a near future where I can game so easily on anything but Windows sadly.

I've been in the process of switching to Linux fully, what distro is recommended?

defenitly manjaro, my first distro was manjaro and then i switched to arch.

It was a had financial advice as i had to go to therapist often, just get manjaro.

I use Arch btw.

I use Linux on my main PC and a repurposed windows tablet it certainly has in benefits in terms of speed and security (if done right) but unfortunately windows will like stay around for a long long time primary due to legacy support and that fact that most people are raised/trained on it.
