For offensive activity, would you recommend a VPS or a VPN? And yeah a combination is probably best. Trying to use tools that send a mass amount of packets over tor is a time consuming inconvenience, so VPN, vps, or a machine that you have access to that's not on your network seem to be what I've been thinking of as better options
