edit:: I'll take tip#1 with a grain of salt. don't use Windows, and if you do - goto tip#2
tip#1: remember that VT, your AV and your Windows OS gather information about you. VT also saves the file you uploaded so make sure there's nothing incriminating inside.
better to use any open source OS && use a clean machine each time (livecd is king).
