there is no best framework, evaluate your goals (you want to build a project or find a job or something else). do a research and compare the different options. new frameworks are emerging everyday

If you want the users to trust your website, you should better not use javascript at all. I think, especially if you are looking at people with at least moderate knowledge of information safety, like at this forum, they will visit your websites 10 times more rarely if you use javascript, because of the safety measures they need to take to avoid the harm of multiple 0-day explits of browsers that appear every now and then.

start by learning nodejs as that will get you far no matter what you pick
