Microsoft Domains hit with MP3 AD
by - Thursday, January 1, 1970 at 12:00 AM
Some MP3 (scam?) site managed to get official Microsoft domains to link to their site (https://www.freemp3cloud.com/)

Examples can be found in the footer of domains like:
https://cloud-platform-assets.azurewebsites.net/anatomy-of-a-breach/
https://cloud-platform-assets.azurewebsites.net/intelligent-security-graph/
https://lostfoundit.com/connected-factory/

Presumably Microsoft let the azure buckets expire or someone deleted the bucket. Pretty interesting considering MS is known for not handling expiration dates properly all the time.

Nah, it's meant to be there.

fr tho, how'd you even catch this?

*.azurewebsites.net is public and anyone can put stuff on those (think of *.s3.amazonaws.com)

https://lostfoundit.com/connected-factory/ is hosted on Hetzner, I doubt it's affiliated with microsoft
