Their DDoS protection and caching at the edge is some of the best in the industry, and they offer it for free. That's only touching the surface of their products and services.

You can take a look at their website if you want to know what they offer since you clearly don't know what the company does.

Regardless of what Cloudflare logs, your IP will always be stored somewhere. Whether it be Cloudflare's systems, an access log, your VPN (depending on which you use) or proxy provider, or even the MyBB forum software, and so on.

If someone getting hold of your IP is your biggest concern on the internet, you already fucked up. People should assume that the information they use to access a website is already public because, one day, it probably will be.

Couldn't have said it better myself

Could create a basic cdn with something like HAProxy or Nginx as a reverse proxy or multiple servers with round robin DNS ideally there would be no logs at all but the fact is some where along the line your probably getting logged so I guess in the meantime either use the hidden service on TOR or a VPN/don't connect from your place.

True, Cloudflare is excellent but kind of a dangerous relay on them, they compile to a legal request, FBI probably set up a phishing page.

This can result in impersonation, even old users who have bad OPSEC will impersonate someone and might fall for it. Kind of seems dangerous to me

90% of users use Gmail, I doubt most even who are actually privacy-friendly email providers.
Those who share kindness, I will repay that payment 10-fold, and Who do injustice, try to hurt the innocent, I will repay that injustice a 1000 times over.

yeah i definitely don't quite understand you with this
and for the “people with no opsec” shouldn’t be using this website if they have bad intentions in the first place, just sayin'

lol?
There are so much people on here who are not connected with hacking/security or anything like this. They come and use the forum to chill and talk with other people.

Well, my concern would be CloudFlare being able to read the data you send to the site (see: MITM attack) since they provide the TLS certificates. However, I think they at least give you an option to bring your own cert. Not sure. If you're that bothered about IPs being logged, use a reputable VPN.

If you are concerned about privacy you should be using Tor. There is no excuse, you won't have to deal with cloudflare.
