Saga of Tanya The Evil, it combine aspect of WWII from Germany perspective but with magic (the magic is not cringe, that's the plus part) fight scene is great, and the story is good

Dragonball SSGSS Gogeta vs Broly is probably 1 of the best fight scenes ive seen, but One Punch Mans stuff is a close CLOSE 2nd.

Modern equivalent that I can think of is Jujutsu Kaisen.

Yes recent one is Jujutsu Kaisen. Old ones: Hunter X Hunter, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach(everyone knows). If you really just want fight scenes, how about JOJO? Demon Slayer S1 is ok, season 2 I was really bothered by those memories episodes, not really recommend it unless you can find a cut version that gathers all the fight scenes.
