Invidious is open source frontend of youtube. It should allow users to see youtube links for people using tor to see  shoutbox. 

It should make people private but should allow people in onion see the link if allowed. 

Also I think regular expression should be used in shoutbox as youtu.be gets embed but not youtube.com.

I use this, and it should do the job for me.

It will just automatically replace the YouTube embedded video to an Invidious instance embedded video for me.

I do know about it but Most new users do not know about it and use TOR it should reduce problems with onion and also make it private since you can self host it if pompompurin wants to.

Also I recommend use LibRedirect since privacy redirect is not maintained anymore.
