Visual Studio Code vs Emacs vs Vim. What you use?

Emacs since You can customize and add marco's unlike visual studio but I prefer vim since emacs unnecessarily bloated .

All depends if you need to work from the command line or if you need a program with a GUI.

For general purpose editing i prefer SublimeText.
For coding i prefer a proper IDE specific to the language.
For general playing with codes i use SublimeText or VisualStudio Code.

Vim in terminal because it highlights things good, and the keys are easy for me to navigate with. Emacs is too 1337 for me.

vscode, unless you are in a terminal session, then you are stuck with vim or nano :-)

I use VSC because it is lightweight and can be expanded nicely using extensions.

vsc, im a simple guy who doesnt want to learn a ton of binds / how to use a new editor lol

i use nano, code OSS (or codium) and kate

code OSS for long projects

nano for quick random crap while in terminal

and kate for everything else
