I saw it was listed on breachcheck.io; however, I don't have any understandings if this is a public database or not?

As far as I remember those weren't passwords. I could be wrong. People were using emails only, for educational purposes of course.

Hm, I'm not sure, even if they were passwords, I'm not sure anyone ever dehashed them. But looking at them now, they seem to be md5 with custom algorithm that uses md5 as base.
There is some read about it on this. Or they simply truncated them. I will ask around.

Oh this really would be a fantastic find if possible
