Yes! I do remember playing WD2 a few summers ago and man if it wasn't fun. I might consider playing it again, as I should have it somewhere on my laptop.
If you do, play non lethal: it's actually WAY more fun to use your gadgets and stealth your way through without killing anyone.

I'll definitely try that! I've done so many playthroughs the past few years but I think its time for one more... or two...

Try also Dishonored. Not open world, but it gave me a similar feeling as you can basically be non lethal as you want.
