With a google account by accessing from this link you immediately get a linux shell on Cloud shell, sports a powerful e2-standard-2 compute instance that comes with 2x vCPU and 8GB of memory, way more than a small VM (1 vCPU/2GB) that I normally use. In terms of storage, the lsblk command shows 2 disks attached to the instance; with the size of 65GB (SSD) and 5GB (non-SSD) respectively.
