It is highly likely the Russian gas will be cut.

Yes, if the war doesn't end until autumn.

He'll probably have to take that decision back. Russia can't survive on its own, even though people make it seem like a powerful country, it's economy is similar to most European countries.

Correct. Russia can't be the isolated state that it claims it can be.

Russia has opened it's horizons to China. In February they agreed to a 30 year contract to supply gas to China and the payment, correct me if I am wrong, but will be in euros. China is already in third place of consumption of natural gas in the world. Russia and Iran discussed swapping supplies for oil and gas. India has boosted purchases of Russian fuel. I don't see an isolated state nor do I see the sanctions working. This is completely backfiring back to Europe.

it's time to migrate to some warmer regions for a small amount of money during the winter, for example Latin America..
but definitely the current events in Ukraine will lead to a freeze...although believe that this is a bit rich people playing with us (ab)normal people..but that's another topic

It's a tough predicament, having to choose between the Saudis, the Russchuks, the Iranians and the Venezuelans.

I'd go with the Persians, it's a cracking culture.

this contract was signed 10 years ago. With fixed price per m3. In addition to the loosing money on a fixed price, Russia has to build a new pipeline to China. With what technology ? They can't make gas turbines , they don't have technology for LNG. Russia can't even make their "precise" missiles without US microchips.

Yes. China is getting cheap energy. European manufacturing is not competitive. Europe can use tariffs.
